Our annual commemoration of the birthday of General Ulysses S. Grant

will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the National Monument on 122nd

Street and Riverside Drive in Manhattan. The ceremony begins at 11:00 AM,

which also includes the initiation of new members of the Oliver Tilden Camp.

EVENT DATE: SATURDAY, JANUARY 12, 2013
Cemetery Trolley: Commencing at 1:00 PM we will honor the
USS Monitor Crewmen at their grave sites. Followed by
Greenwood Chapel: Memorial Service, musical tribute,
USS Monitor displays, refreshments.
Bus from Greenpoint for those requiring transportation.

Colonel Crowther Weekend (Sesquicentennial Signature Event) 5-7 August 2011

The 110th PA (SVR) and Col. Crowther Camp #89 held their annual Colonel Crowther Weekend in Tyrone, Pennsylvania on the weekend of August 5th - 7th. Although the weather was less than perfect the event was very successful.

This event had been designated a signature event by the SUVCW Sesquicentennial committee and the activities included demonstrations of Cavalry, Artillery, and Infantry tactics. On Sunday a Civil War era church service was conducted by the 110th's Chaplain. This service was...

SVR holds its semi-annual meeting during the National Encampment in Reston Virginia 13 August 2011

Sons of Veterans Reserve Breakfast (National Encampment 2011) Left to Right Natioanl Chaplain Jerry Kowolski, Col. Andy Johnson, Brig General Keith Hairson, Col Robert Patrovik, Col Donald Darby, and Major General Robert Grim commander of the SVR.

Following its regular proceedure the SVR held its semi-annual breakfast meeting at the Sheraton, Reston, VA during the National Encampment of the SUVCW.  The breakfast was well attended with many of the District Commanders and officers in attendance....
