Our annual commemoration of the birthday of General Ulysses S. Grant

will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the National Monument on 122^nd

Street and Riverside Drive in Manhattan. The ceremony begins at 11:00 AM,

which also includes the initiation of new members of the Oliver Tilden Camp.

Sinking of the USS Monitor

EVENT DATE: SATURDAY, JANUARY 12, 2013
Cemetery Trolley: Commencing at 1:00 PM we will honor the
USS Monitor Crewmen at their grave sites. Followed by
Greenwood Chapel: Memorial Service, musical tribute,
USS Monitor displays, refreshments.
Bus from Greenpoint for those requiring transportation.

Pvt. William Boon (USCT) Grave Marker Dedication 5/13/12

The Brothers of the Brady Camp #63 in Petersburg, VA conducted a graveside marker dedication service for Pvt. William Boon, USCT in rural Suffolk country this afternoon. Brady Camp commander Thomas Grund was the master of ceremonies and he was assisted by brother Benjamin Hawley, Patriotic Instructor for tghe Department of the Chesapeake, brother Donald Wells, PCC of the Brady Camp, and brother Mark Day, Senior Vice Commander of the Department of the Chesapeake and Commander of the 2nd Military District, SVR. The honor guard was comprised of brothers of the Brady camp assisted by members of the 33 NC USCT, the 54th Massachussets, the 63rd NY, and the Potomac Guard, SVR. Brother Michael Paquette, PDC of the Department of the Chesapeake, played the traditional taps at the end of the ceremonies.
