The 110th PA (SVR) and Col. Crowther Camp #89 held their annual Colonel Crowther Weekend in Tyrone, Pennsylvania on the weekend of August 5th - 7th. Although the weather was less than perfect the event was very successful.
This event had been designated a signature event by the SUVCW Sesquicentennial committee and the activities included demonstrations of Cavalry, Artillery, and Infantry tactics. On Sunday a Civil War era church service was conducted by the 110th's Chaplain. This service was followed by a graveside ceremony for Sgt. William Eli Crowther, which was attended by several Crowther family descendants
